The sub-editing online training course now standing in front of you is the National Union of Journalists’ direct Scottish route to Newspaper Text Handling of the highest standard.
It is aimed at helping course members master the art of
subbing ie getting the words right. The computer skills of using text and graphics programmes are to be learned on the union’s other courses.
This one could be done using pencil and paper!
